It turns out that we have more money left in our 2009-10 budget than we’d thought, so your incoming WADSA Coordinator (Sean Otto) and your outgoing WADSA Coordinator (Andy Edwards) have decided to invite applications for two travel bursaries of $150 each. If you have presented or will be presenting an out-of-province paper during the 2009-10 academic year (from Sept 1, 2009 – Aug 31, 2010), please send an email with your name, title of the paper & conference information (conference title, date, location, organizational affiliation, etc.) to andy.edwards AT utoronto.ca . Selection of winners will be based on drawing names, most likely out of a hat, but perhaps a coffee tin or some other fine receptacle. The deadline for submissions is next Friday, 14 May 2010, 5 PM (EST).
